Ford Flip Remote Key

Transponder chip programming for Ford and Lincoln vehicles can be done at home in an easy procedure if you already have at least two keys that are already programmed to the car.

Programming of The Chip Portion

Add A Key Using Two Programmed Keys (1min)

1) With 1st programmed key, switch the ignition to the ON position, one turn before starting the car.

2) Leave ON until the security light goes off, should take 5sec.

3)Turn the key to the OFF position and remove key.

4) Repeat steps 1-3 with a 2nd programmed key.

5) Insert the unprogrammed key and switch the ignition to the ON position. The security light should go off within 5sec. At this point the key is programmed to your car and you'll be able to start your car.

Programming of The Keyless Entry Portion (If keyless entry didn't program in the previous step, follow this procedure)

1) Within 10sec, cycle the key in the ignition On/Off for (8) times. A beep/chime will sound.

2) You are now in keyless entry programming mode.

3) Press Lock or Unlock on each remote (even previously programmed fobs). The door lock should cycle once, confirming the remote was accepted. If the door lock cycle twice or doesn't cycle at all, remote was not accepted. Repeat process.

4) Turn the car to the OFF position to exit programming mode and test the remote.

5) If the procedure failed, start the car on for a few second, turn it back off, and repeat the above steps.
